Anne Holliday
I was born in 1961 in Johannesburg, South Africa and lived there until 2001 when I moved to New Plymouth, New Zealand.
I studied at the Johannesburg Art Foundation where I received a Diploma in Graphic Design and at the University of the
Witwaterstrand where I received a BA Fine Arts degree. I have some paintings in the Gencor Collection in Johannesburg
and a painting in the National Gallery in Cape Town, South Africa.
My paintings are still influenced by my life in South Africa with glimpses of razor wire, high walls, high security and
people being locked in and locked out. |
